Hello, Lovelies,
I hope and pray that this letter finds you all well and you are enjoying your summer. I thought I would give everyone a bit of a recent life update. I don’t know about you, but the Lord has currently been walking me through a transformation this past year, and He continues to do so. So here are a few exciting updates on my life so far. First, in May, I moved into a new apartment. My new place has already been an enormous blessing to me, and I can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to move the longer I live in the new apartment. Secondly, I am no longer working as an ESL Classroom Aide (My day job for the past two years). While I enjoyed my time working as an Aide via the prompting of the Lord, I felt it was time to move on to something new as of May 2021. The Lord and I are still in the process of discovering what that new job is for this season of my life. But the main reason I am writing this post is to inform you that I am accepted as a Second Year Student as part of the on-campus program at BSSM! I am incredibly excited to continue my journey here at BSSM.
I can genuinely say that my first-year experience was one of the most beautiful
and transformative years of my life. I’m still trying to find the right words to describe the experience. While it was defiantly unique in terms of logistics and restrictions due to the pandemic, I know that it played out exactly how the Lord had explicitly intended for me. Throughout my first year, I met so many fiery men and women who love Jesus and challenged me every day. I can genuinely say I love each one of them as much as I love you, and I can’t wait to run with them again in September. There is so much I could write about my First Year. But for now, I think I’m going to keep it to a paragraph.
I believe the BSSM Admissions team says it best. “Second Year at BSSM is a powerful opportunity for you to build upon the identity that King Jesus has established in your life. As you continue to embrace what it looks like to live as a child of God, we’re expecting you to grow in leadership, knowledge, power, and all that Holy Spirit has for you.” Throughout my first year, he did so much in me, and through me, he began to plant seeds concerning what it looks like for me in the future regarding ministry. And While I still have no idea of how exactly all the pieces will come together, I am so thrilled to watch God move and place the details in the right places. He’s already been talking to me about the Second Year and about certain things He has planned, and I’m thrilled and undone by them all at the same time. Because I’m simply trusting and walking through the doors, He holds open for me.
However, BSSM does have a cost, and I would love it if you and your family would partner with me financially and through prayer as I take this next step. I have 30 days (until August 3rd) to fundraise the $500 deposit to secure my spot in the school. The total cost of Tuition for the second year is $5,300. The first half of my Tuition for the Second Year is due September 1st, 2021. If you feel led to donate financially, I have attached the link to my donation page below.
